A favorite winter warmer, the hot toddy can be sipped as a soothing tonic before bedtime, or as relief to cold, wet weather. It was named for the toddy drink in India, created from a drink of the toddy palm, then carried to Scotland by the East India Company as a hot whiskey drink of water, honey, herbs, and spices. The 1.5 ounces of spices in this packet brews up to 1 gallon of hot toddies, all you need to add is hot water, whiskey and honey. This kit is hand blended and packaged by Oliver Pluff & Co. in Charleston, South Carolina, and has a shelf life of 3 years.
