What are your Shipping Charges / Policies?
Shipping: We will do our best to ship out orders as quickly as possible. Depending on what day of the week you place your order, please give us 1-3 days to ship out your package (lead time will be longer during our very busy holiday season during November and December). Please take note of any future ship dates that might be noted next to products. We sell out of items fairly quickly when they are in high demand due to a press feature, and want to keep the item available for people to place orders for future deliveries as soon as they are expected. Please note these dates are our best guestimate, but we will email you if there is a long delay.
When your order has been sent, you will receive an email from us giving you the shipping details and tracking info. Shipping usually takes 3-7 days depending on your location (we ship from Brooklyn, NY) and the time of the year (December is very busy for all shipping methods so please place your order ASAP- we sell out quickly!). Mostly we ship via UPS Ground, however sometimes it is cheaper & often quicker to ship through the USPS, so we will take that option as needed, please see email confirmation for details. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 3-7 DAY SHIPPING WINDOW IS ONCE YOUR PACKAGE LEAVES OUR SHOP and not from your order date.
Shipping costs for shipments are based on your total order amount before sales tax (NY only) or any special discounts are applied.
Ground Shipping rates are:
$.01- $25= $7.95
$25.01- $50= $9.95
$75.01- $100= $13.95
Oversized handling charges may apply to some items.
We will do our best to accommodate expedited shipping as needed. Please email us by using our contact form for 2nd Day air service. We will get back to you ASAP with a shipping quote.
BE SURE TO ADD YOUR APARTMENT OR SUITE NUMBER AS NEEDED (unfortunately if pkgs missing this info are returned to us or need to be re-routed it is YOUR responsibility). We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, or for packages returned to us for incorrect addresses.
We love our international customers and many visit us at the shop! We will do our best to ship internationally (and still make it worth everyone’s while from a cost perspective). If you are interested in sending things internationally please email us by using our contact form with your order and order and we will advise shipping costs and then you can enter that when you are processing your order. If you have a large order we can try to accommodate your needs, please contact us through our contact form.
WHEN WE CAN, WE RECYCLE BOXES AND PACKING MATERIALS TO HELP THE ENVIRONMENT, SO PLEASE PARDON OUR PRESENTATION IF YOUR BOX HAS BEEN RECYCLED.
Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! Our gift certificates are actual “blue ribbons” They are available in any dollar amount over $15. You can click here to order one of our Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store gift certificates – and just add in the dollar amount. They come boxed with a note saying who they are from. Please add this info in the comment box when you check out.
Do you have shopping services for Corporate Events and Parties?
Yes! We would love to help! Please give Annie a call at 718.522.9848 or email her using our contact form and describe your event and we will do our best to work with you. We were featured in the corporate event magazine and website Biz Bash as a great place to get corporate gifts. We can work with you on treats big or small as well as gift “baskets.” We have also made a lot of “loot bags” for birthday parties with all our fun “grab bag” treats (silly putty, candy, etc.)- And can even send along some of our shopping bags to put all the treats in.
What is your return policy? How do I return something?
First of all, we hope you LOVE everything you get from Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store- but in case you don’t (or it was somehow damaged in shipping), you can return unopened merchandise in original condition within 30 days for a full refund. Please email us by using our contact form for a Return Authorization number (RA#). We will email you a number to be included when you send back your merchandise. Unless goods are damaged when you receive them, you will need to cover your own shipping charges. Damaged items must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

Do you gift wrap? How much does it cost?
Yes, we do gift wrap! And it’s free! Depending on the size and shape we will either wrap it as is in Bright Blue or Green Tissue with our sticker and some ribbon, or put it in a box. Unfortunately, some larger items might not be able to be gift wrapped- but we will always try our best! Please check the “Do you want this gift wrapped” box when you are checking out.
